The National Center for Research on Education Access and (REACH) at Tulane University invites applications for apost-doctoral Research Fellow to begin in fall 2022. The successful candidate will conduct and publish originalquantitative research related to topics related to K-12 school reform, parent choice, charter schools, and teacher labormarkets, among others. We invite applications from candidates who will receive a Ph.D. in education, sociology, economics, psychology, or arelated field by fall 2022. The Education Research Alliance for New Orleans and the National Center for Research on Education Access andChoice (REACH), based within the Economics Department at Tulane University, are now hiring an Associate Directorof Research. The Associate Director (AD) is part of the Leadership Team of ERA-New Orleans, which producesrigorous research to understand and improve the city’s distinctive, charter-based school system, and REACH, whichproduces objective, applicable research on school choice policy nationally. The AD/Research Professor will conductand present original research, write grant proposals, and direct day-to- day research operations of both centers,including supporting and supervising research staff and ongoing research-practice partnerships; building and leadingrelationships with key partners (including data providers and practitioners); managing internal and external review ofresearch; managing approval processes with the Institutional Review Board; and representing the center at local andnational events.
