The Education Policy Division in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for two tenure-line associate or assistant professor positions to join the standing faculty at the Graduate School of Education. The focus areas for these positions include (1) inequality and education policy and (2) actionable research for public policy in education.

Education Policy at Penn is driven by the mission to produce evidence on current issues that contribute to policy to improve inequality in education and life outcomes. Our work spans issues related to student engagement, learning, and educational attainment. Ultimately, our goal is to both produce research and to train the next generation of researchers to address challenges in education and inform policy and practice. Our Education Policy program includes Ph.D. and master’s degree programs. The Education Policy division is also the home of the University of Pennsylvania’s IES Predoctoral Program in Interdisciplinary Methods for Field-based Research in Education.
